On October 14, 1998, Francesco Molon opened
a new American showroom of exquisitely crafted Italian furniture
to design professionals visiting the High Point, North Carolina,
furniture market.
Sensitive to the tastes and styles of the American marketplace,
Francesco Molon features its collections in vignette settings originally
created by nationally recognized American designer Robert Harper.
With more than thirty years experience, Mr.Harper's specialties
include interior design for homes, offices, showrooms and specially
created furniture, fabrics, china and accessories. Memorable design
projects include the residences of President and Mrs. George Bush
and Clint Eastwood's Carmel, California Mission Ranch.
Like the parent center in Italy, the American headquarters have
been designed with a Palladian-style villa façade that marries classical
Italian architecture with a contemporary facility.
However, in this venue, the American team strives to present furniture
that works for the American consumer in an atmosphere of fine American
homes.
From this location, the company manages all aspects of its American
operations: Customer Service, Distribution and Warehousing.
Francesco Molon stocks best-selling inventory for this market in
its 20,000 square foot state-of-the-art warehouse facility.
The company sells to high-end retail stores, designers, and trade
showrooms in every major city in the country. The 25,000 square
foot showroom is open to members of the trade year round by
appointment.
